University Walk formerly Summerwalk

I've read most of the reviews posted here and I both agree and disagree. However, I do admit I have really good neighbors both right beside me and above me. They are great and I never hear anything. I have swam in one of the pools numerous times and can't really complain. It's not great, but it's pretty clean. I've seen other complex pools that I wouldn't even touch.
Now onto the bad...Our bathroom wall was wet and fell off onto my boyfriend before they fixed it. They didn't both to tell us we couldn't use it and then all of a sudden it just fell. They charge a lot of money if you pay your rent even one day late...especially if it's because of a returned check. It doesn't seem fair that a small mistake one day late can cost a couple hundred dollars...
Maintanence isn't too bad. I've requested things to be fixed and they've fixed them in a pretty timely manner. I've only lived here since late 2007 and it hasn't been too bad. Our stove didn't work right when we moved in, all of the burners were tilted in...it was weird...but we fixed that ourselves. I get irritated at the countertops in the kitchen and bathroom because they are so rough and really hard to get clean. The area is not too bad from what I've observed. I go to school and work all day, so I'm really only home at night. It seems fairly clean and such. The gym and computer area isn't the best and could use some improvements. It's nice to have a gym, but with work and school, I'm only home after 5 and they're closed by then. The computer lab only had three computers, and all the times I've been there only one has worked.
They charge a lot for having a dog, which is stupid. Overall, it's not bad, but there's probably some better places to rent for cheap. it's mostly Full Sail students and some families I'd say. Like I said, I have good neighbors so I dont' get a lot of noise, but I have heard while walking around at night loud music and such...but you'll get that anywhere. The laundry room could also use some improvements. I've probably lost ten to twenty dollars using dryers that don't work and washers that are teh tiniest things I've ever seen. Also, they should have a dollar to change machine.
An okay place if you're just starting out. But with a family and such, like I said, tehre's probably better places for your money. It's a nice place for college and Full Sail students in my opinion.

Most places will charge you for a returned check, thats your fault, not the complexes fault you idiot.

Yeah, it wasn't really our fault either...it was actually the banks...but hey, you learn your lessons in life somehow, right. I have no hard feelings about it against them now about it.
