Give a home a hat rack

There were a great majority of reviews posted stating that they flat-out would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone and it really begs the question: 'Who are you working for'' Seriously, over 58% of apartment renters in the united states alone are given offers by other potential complexes trying to get them to come live at their apartments, and somewhere along the line these complex managers will set out one simple guide line for the low, low renting price: write a bad review of the place you just left. It's true that out of the 58%, 42% of those people comply.
I am a current and very happy resident at University Walk Apartments and I have to say that all those bad reviews seemed a little bogus to me. Plenty were less descriptive (and surely less influential) than a burned-out middle school teacher with a bad attitude. Everything in these apartments are more than adequate for a family. The pools (there are two) are very nice and stay open until around ten pm and we have a new lounge with amazingly fast wi-fi internet, which by the way, is a godsend seeing as how I'm a Full Sail student, money is tight and can't pay for internet myself right now. Maintenance is currently doing some work around the place, but I can never tell until I walk around a corner and see a sparkling new chunk of landscape or freshly manicured hedges, along with the wonderful wood borders accenting the sidewalks now. I never notice because I don't hear the guys. They shoot in, shoot out, mission accomplished and no one ever knows they were there. That's what a maintenance crew is supposed to be all about. Have a problem at home' Same deal there. Maybe thirty minutes tops and the problems fixed, no questions asked, just boom and they're gone.
I do admit that the general look of the place (which truthfully I find fascinating architecture built in the 1970s) seems a bit old for some folks, but come on, it's a home. It has been said that home is where you hang your hat, but it's a little difficult when so many people out there are taking away your hat rack.

I agree completely. Good place to live and they're really doing a good job to fix up the place. I can't wait for the new lounge!

How interesting to read this cogent review. The lady doth protest too much. It's almost like you work for the complex yourself. And what's a burned out middle school teacher with a bad attitude got to do with one person's opinion over another. I do live in University Walk and it's not bad but it's not perfect.
