Whisper Lake has got to be one of the nastiest apartments I have ever been in. First thing you notice when I walked up the stairs to my girlfriend's apartment is that the woodwork looks rotten and is very unkempt. Not only that but the inside is very much the same. My girlfriend has asthma and apparently there is mold in the carpet there, at least it was in both apartments that she lived in, as she was moved after complaining about the mold after having it tested by an outside company. The bathtub's caulk lining wasn't there when she moved in so it was a hideous sight, and all this on top of the neighborhood being a common ground for criminal activity. I would warn anyone from moving into these apartments, there are plenty of other apartments in the area that are far better and rent is lower as well.
