I've been here for a year, and as a Film Full Sail student it has been a good stay. I'll go over each topic one by one.

1. Parking- When I borrowed a car, or when I was with one of my two roommates, finding a parking spot right outside your building is tough to do at certain times of the day, mainly at night. A few times we had to park pretty far away, but that wasn't too often. The only annoying thing was seeing either a scooter of motorcycle taking up a parking spot, while others were nice and kept their bikes on their patios.

2. Noise- My only complaint was the AC. There's a party every once in a while around, or on the island. The speed bumps get cars and trucks to make noise, and a large semi can be heard from 436, but that's it for car noise.

3. Grounds- They just finished repainting and renovating the outside of every building, and it looks nice. Once a month they go around and trim trees and bushes and mow the grass. The lake and the island look nice, but have trash is a problem from parties on the island. The insides are nice too, if you pay the fee to clean them up. I still haven't had anyone fix my screen that had fallen off the window since before I've moved in.

4. Safety- I don't often see security guards roaming around the complex. Every once in a while there's an issue with cars being broken into or tires slashed, but I think that could randomly happen at any apartment complex. There was a murder here once while I was around, but it was from someone visiting a friend in the complex, so it wasn't from the inside. Overall I felt safe walking to and from school and around the complex at night.

5. Construction- You're lucky if your moving in now, it's all over and it wasn't too bad when it was happening. Overall condition is very nice. We have the 2/2 loft. The carpets were fresh when we moved in, and the paint was new. I can tell when someone is moving in, since a crew comes in and tears out the carpet and paints everything.

6. Maintenance- Right when I moved in they were on top of most things, but afterwards they only came in once to do a check-up, and they didn't fix everything we told them about. Our AC makes a LOT of noise, and has the blades of a ceiling fan supporting it for some reason. Haven't been able to get them to check it out yet still.

7. Staff- Best part of the complex. No complaints, and sometimes free cookies.

8. Overall- I would live here again if it wasn't for the fact that they raised our rent, and I live in technically a 1 Bed 2 bath loft unit with three people. Look around for cheaper prices, but you can't get anything better than Whisper Lake really.
