Good place to live, complex cares about its residents

I've lived in Whisper Lake for 8 months now. Overall, it's quite nice. It's college town (near Full Sail), but noise isn't too much of an issue, and the complex gives you a phone number to call 24/7 if there is excess noise.
Grounds - 10/10
The grounds are kept up incredibly well. They are a typical apartment complex where the leasing office is WAY over-done, so do your best to ignore what that looks like.
Apartment - 8/10
The models we were shown actually reflected very closely to the apartment I got.
The appliances/fixtures do show some pretty substantial signs of aging, but everything works. I had an issue with my stove where I couldn't set the clock and the timer went off randomly once in a while, and they just ended up replacing the whole range with a new one.
The A/C unit in my apartment is very noisy, and not incredibly efficient.
Floor plan overall looks cramped *at first*, but once we moved our stuff in everything seems to fit "snugly" into the little apartment.
Water is a flat $30 extra, and all the faucets in the apartment have efficient low-water-use fixtures.
Like most apartments in the area, if there is a problem with a wall, they just paint it. They spray-paint everything and it's very evident especially around the registers that cover the vents, where drips of paint have streaked partway down the wall.
The complex does a stellar job with pests. They come into your apartment every 3 months, and I've never seen a roach. I have seen a couple of spiders, but they were very small and I assumed they probably were attached to something I was bringing inside or on my person.
Leasing Office/Management - 9/10
Recently there was an increase of crime around the Full Sail area. This is the only complex I know of that actually took steps to counteract that problem. They hired an outside security task for that shows up at the front entrance from time to time (they were here 24/7 for about 4 months) to make sure everyone that parks here is supposed to be here.
The complaints I've read on here about certain issues I believe are from disgruntled residents that want the world handed to them on the cheap. It's JUST an apartment, nothing fancy, but it works.
I've never had a parking problem here (except for when they randomly decided to paint the parking lot), and yeah, sometimes you have you walk a distance from your car to your apartment. The closest parking spot to my apartment is still a good 20 or 30 feet from my door, but I'm not complaining. It's a really minor issue.
I've not seen a roach since I moved in.
The leasing staff are nice, not rude.
The walls are not thin, the neighbors are simply noisy sometimes.
