Typical from my experiences

Property is under new management since November. Silverfish were not a problem for me. I see one here and there, but that's always been my experience with wood framed apartments. Management was never rude to me, but my roomate says they are always rude to her. I never had the mold problem. The sound insulation is really bad though. From the dog howling next door, to neighbors gabbing on the phone on their balconies at all hours of the night, the place just resonates any sounds. I still live there so I haven't had to face the security deposit issue, then again we didn't pay one (move-in incentive), so we'll have to see how that goes. They offered to renew our leease without an increase... that's a first for me and I've been an apartment dweller for more than 10 years.
