We have been here a month, and thus far, Courtney Springs is clean; the staff is attentive, friendly, and considerate; the whole complex is remarkably quiet, almost unnervingly so. It feels safe at night.

So far, the the teenagers bring their teenie-boppers bring their friends over and tend to overrun the pool, not by splashing but by volume and overall dominance. Once, just before closing, a boy brought his pug dog in the pool, but this was clearly against the rules. I suppose that rules are broken everywhere.

I would not say that people are overly friendly, as there is a high turnover rate (welcome to Central Florida) and many transplants from the Northeast. However, all that Northeastern rudeness melted away; no one has been rude or unkind. Mostly, we don't see other residents. The quiet is sometimes eerie. We live on the top floor, but the design is such that the only walls that abutt a neighbor are in the kitchen, dining area, and bathroom. The bedrooms are isolated and the walls are thick.

Overall, we really like it here.
