We moved in a couple of months ago and had fabulous neighbors. They were very welcoming and friendly. In the past month or so, some of the neighbor's have purchased homes and moved. They are being replaced by very rude neighbors. We have an upstairs apartment and small children. We do the best we can to limit the noise that the kids make running around, but the people underneath us bang on the ceiling if they make the slightest bit of noise. It feels like we can't even move around in our own home. We have had several nights where we hear loud parties until the wee morning hours. I remember having parties before I had children and understand it is great to live it up, but they are extremely loud and have ran until daylight. Once in a while it isn't so bad, but it is turning into a weekly event. Slowly but surely the good people living in the complex are leaving and the wrong people are moving in. When we first moved in I thought we would live here for a couple of years, but now I am almost certain we will be leaving when our lease is up.
