There was a MAN on my PORCH!

I got an excellent deal moving in here...however I can not wait until my lease ends! I'd rather pay double! For starters, the very first day I moved in everything was broken...hot water, a/c, leaks...everything. Most of the time maintenance came quickly to fix the problems, however it took them serveral attempts to fix it right. They also claim to have 24-hour maintenance, which only applies if you catch them off lunch or near their cell phone.
Perhaps the most disturbing thing that happened while living here was waking up one morning, stumbling out to the living room and finding a construction worker on my porch! Luckily I was wearing a robe. To make things worse, the construction worker cut through the screen in order to get on my porch (for "painting"...I believe he was just smoking a cigarette). They didnt fix the tear in my porch for a month and a half (and this wasn't just a little tear, the whole thing was in pieces).
On a side note, our power bill is exteremly high ($200 a month). I only live in a two bedroom! Progress Energy said that our high bill was due to inefficient utilities (a/c unit, fridge, and water heater). So unless you have money to waste and do not mind strangers seeing you naked (almost) do not live here.
