Didn't appreciate it until I left...

I lived at the complex for three years, the phase one section near the office. My husband and I moved out of state and we didn't realize how nice Willa Springs was until we left. I admit there are maintenance issues and my electric bills were almost always at least $150 for a 2bd/2ba (which is outrageous). The complex as a whole though is nice to live in and the office staff are the fairest of all places I've lived. The place is animal friendly and the neighbors I had were wonderful. There were some elderly neighbors I had who have been here for over 10 years. If you're lucky enough not to live by young punks it's great. The neighborhood is also safe. It's the places that have gates that are the ones criminals target anyways. I've lived in 7 apartments in my life. The newer and nicer looking gated communities had the most crime, and it was very dangerous crime. Willa Springs has none of it. I wish my current apartment was like Willa Springs. I miss my old home now... I don't know if Natalie is still the manager, but she was very fair and thorough compared to any other managers I've dealt with at other complexes. Any problems at Willa Springs are minor compared to what awaits in other apartments. It's worth the extra money to live there from what I've come to realize.
