The staff and maintenance crew are very friendly and good people, which is why I feel bad rating them as low as I have. I've watched this place fall apart over the last two years and although they're nice, they've done very little to improve it. I also definitely agree with the last person who mentioned their utilities. The apartments are very old (over 20 years) and not very well maintained. I would say that the money you might save on rent here compared to a more updated place, might be overshadowed by the price of the utilities. They recently decided to combine the water bills for entire buildings and as a result, our water bill skyrocketed. The gym is completely delapidated and has been for over a year. I feel like the staff has given up on the place. It has become a revolving door for tenants, they come and go constantly and I'm looking forward to moving very soon. I would strongly advise not living here.

The water bill is not right I agree. The owner doesn't want to pay to replace the meters so everyone is charged a flat rate. This means the tenants are over charged most likely. I think this might be against the law. I would also advise not to live at Serenity at Tuskawilla, avoid at all costs.

The reason they're not taking care of it is because they know they're breaking the law - it's only a matter of time before someone follows through with a small claim and they get shut down. Be warned they steal deposits - legal advice often guides towards not paying your last month's rent to redeem your deposit. If they can prove you owe something that should've been deducted you can write them a check. It's the only way you can ensure you will be treated fairly!
