I've lived at Shadow Creek for 2 years and this is the first apartmet complex that has actually done my maintenance work quickly. The few times that I hvae called in for work to be done, they have come out right away. I even got a call from some girl in the office making sure that the work got done. My old apartment would take sometimes two weeks to get stuff done.

The few times I have gone into the office the staff is very friendly and it seems like everyone cares. Im very happy with my apartment.

I only wish that there movie theater was open after office hours.

Sure, any repairs that are required by your lease or by law are timely done, but any repairs to the common areas are usually neglected. The irony is that these common areas are used as a major selling point. When push comes to shove, it seems they are more likely to take away a common area amenity rather than spend the money to repair/replace it. This goes for the computer room, the theater, the sauna, the gym etc. And, there is no security here, either after-hours, or while the staff is on duty. The staff are here during the day just to manage the property with regards to leasing to maintain the highest occupancy rates, and at night the place could burn to hell for all they care (and it nearly has a number of times). And if you "complain" they look at you like you are an annoyance disregarding the fact that you LIVE THERE and PAY RENT. Avoid this place at all costs. However, if you like deliquent teens from outside using and vandalizing the amenities YOU pay for, smoking pot by the pool at night, propping the gym doors open, destroying the pool bathroom, breaking bottles by the pool, breaking into mail boxes, partying in the breezeways, then this is the place for you!
