Years at this apartment: 2002-01-01 - 2005-01-01
My husband and I lived here for about three years.
It was extremely quiet at first and it was great for our first apartment.
Then some management changes happened.
Most of the renters used to be a lot of older, very quiet people.
We loved it.
THEN, some real thugs and rednecks started moving in.
The lady next door was a drug addict who pawned her son's Playstation (We know this because her and her boyfriend were fighting in the street).
We had to call the police several times because of domestic disturbances.
Also, at two in the morning, someone knocked on our door begging for us to call the police.
Great! Also, I witnessed one staff member making drug deals in the parking lot.
Overall, it's an old, slowly deteriorating complex.
The maintenance guy sort of fixed our A/C but never came back to complete the repairs.
We also had a bad bug problem.
There is also NO DISHWASHER.
They are not energy efficient units (about a $170 electric bill for a 500 sq.
ft apartment' wow).
BUT - it was still not the worst experience.
However, if you like amenities, responsible staff, and space, you may want to try looking elsewhere.
But rent is cheap, so if that's all you want, then it may be okay for you.
