The best of the worst

My friend and I were forced to move to Albany for a year for school. We looked at many apartments in the area and this was one of the nicest ones - plus, it's gated. So we moved in. The office staff are extremely nice when you call, then they get nothing done. They will promise you anything and never deliver. The matinence people are laughingly horrible and you'll be waiting weeks before they bother coming by. One of them once took apart our air conditioner unit just because. He thought the apartment was empty. So he broke it, then left it taken apart for a few days before he managed to get his act together enough to fix it. No one bothered to tell us this, we had to learn it the hard way on an 86 degree day with no air. If there had been ANY other option that didn't involve roaches and crime, I would definately choose to live there.
