There has been ant problems for the last three years and the ants attack stealthly every summer, at first archstone managment did not do anything about it and now the alara chooses to do nothing about it, but lay the blame on the playground or other residents! There are several unhappy residents in this complex and many buildings are affected and infested with these pests. They are only willing to compensate you not even with the bare minimum. The community of unhappy residents would like to give you fair warning about living in a high priced community in which in reality it is not worth it for the problems and grief. This community though is gorgeous it presents unhidden unpleasures and we in the community admonnish you to research this community with the residnets as well as the front office tour.

Residents and future residents be ware.

Research natural remedies for pests that will not contaminate your living space or your pets, but will end the issue. You live in a forest....you will have some problems in structures, even a house. There are NO PERFECT APARTMENTS ANYWHERE.

There is no reason for red ant infestations. I have seen the huge mounds of ants everywhere in the summers. The grass is always infested with ants also. In other states rental communities that have these problems, they spray the grass. This complex does not spray the grass, only the mounds, supposedly. These are very dangerous ants, and if you happen to be allergic to a bite, it can be deadly, not to mention the poor dogs in the complex. The ant problems are a little easier to combat in your unit, yes, but we are talking about a large scale problem here. I've heard many residents complain about this issue also.
