I've lived at this complex for approx. a year - it had a good location and seemed clean. After the first few months you start to see beyond the pretty flowers and somewhat clean grounds. If you ever have any kind of issue that you need to take up with the managment - GOOD LUCK! - the are completely incompetent of helping you, none the less being able to answer the easiest questions. Everything has been a problem at this place, noise, bugs, garbage, the gates are always broken, other residents taking advantage of a lower cost of living,( lets just say there are four adults and four children living in a nearby unit, 2 families sharing an apartment which is completely unacceptable). It may look like a nice location, but beware things aren't always what the seem. I suggest looking around there are better places out there they just may be a few more minutes away, but trust me its worth it - We're outta here shortly and trust me we're counting the days. Oh, they recently had to hire an onsite security officer to deal with issues "after hours", If that isn't a sign of whats to come at this place, I don't know what is. Please do your research if you have the time - this place is not worth the money. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt

I don't know how many apartment complexes you have lived in this area (Alpharetta/Roswell), but I can attest to the fact that NP is better than most, despite the seeming staff incompetence (their decisions are mandated and heavily influenced by the management company/owner(s)). Insects are a fact of life in Georgia, as we live in a forest; especially, NP, since it is next door to the Big Creek. NP has had security officers (off duty police) for several years. Some good, some obnoxious, like the current one. However, if it wasn't for the police in general, NP would be worse than it is: socially it began deteriating around post 911 to 2002. When it was built, it attracted young professioanls, and was alot better than today, 10 years later. Frankly, I like the wild life: have you stopped to appreciate the deer roaming in the early dawn or early evening? Have you been here long enough to watch the squirrels playing, the rodents running around, the acrobatics of frogs, lizards, etc.? Stop to smell the flowers intead of focusing on what's wrong with apartment living. It helps to relieve the stress. ALL COMPLEXES HAVE ISSUES: they aren't designed to make people want to stay for along time, just make money for the investors. In a few more years, they will probably demolish the buildings and build expensive townhomes or refurbish the buildings into condos: it's a wonderfully placed residential property. I don't know of any property in this area that is perfect; and I can think through my experiences that there are alot worse scenarios. Buy a house, a townhome, or think of ways to get politically involved to change the way renters are forced to endure the hardships of poorly built apartment buildings. The materials need to change; the attitudes need to change. We all need to work together to make life better; whining and complaining isn't changing anything, is it?

I agree 100%. I love living at Alara North Point. I'm really shocked by some of the reviews of this property. I sit on my deck and watch the deer sometimes late in the evening and just marvel at how peaceful it is. It's not management fault that residents with pets don't care more about their community than to not pick up after their dogs. The company has placed plastic bags and a a place to toss it to keep the property free of poop. I never noticed security, but I don't mind it. I live on the third floor and there's no children in my building. So, it's VERY quiet and peaceful in my building and the surrounding buildings. It has been a good experience for me so far, and I would highly recommend ANP.
