I have been here 3 and a half years and moving out this month. The place had gone downhill since RAM took over the property from Archstone. They allow anyone to move in. Some apartments that are 2 bedroom have 10 people living there. Dogs run freely and dog owners do not pick up after their pets. Poop is all over the place. The people who work in the office such as Melissa and Holly are worthless. They do not return any calls. Rent keeps going up, but they advertise cheaper rates on Rent.com. Take it from someone that has been here 3 plus years....stay away!!!

It is amazing how folks will call out individuals whilst hiding behind the anonymous moniker. I have lived here for five years going into my sixth. Melissa, Holly and Linda are the first apartment management staff I have actually taken the time to learn their names and then get to know them as people. Perhaps your issues with them are of your own making. Do you find that many people are worthless? Perhaps you might need to examine what the common denominator is in all these relationships. As far as renting to just anyone. If the person(s) passes the credit check, criminal background and whatever else is done prior to signing a lease, the management must rent the apartment under the Fair Housing Act. If you do not like this, I would suggest you contact your member of congress and ask to have this Act repealed. His name is Tom Price and here is his contact info. http://tom.house.gov/html/contact.cfm If there are ten people living in a two bedroom, why not report this? Until we have telescreens installed a la 1984 how is management to know about this? I will agree with the dogs running rampant, however again this is a nuisance caused by other tenants, why not step out of your little bubble and say something, inform management or call the police. If management enforced on every little infraction committed by over a thousand people you would complain about that. We all live in an apartment until you can purchase your compound out in Montana deal with the minor issues that occur in this complex. Melissa and Linda, sorry I don't know the lady's name that is succeeding Holly, keep up the good work, and Linda I will pre-apologize, can I get the total for my utilities when I drop off my check?

Exaggeration. Yes... 1. Rents are going up; but so is everything else we buy. 2. There are a few irresponsible dog-owners who allow their dogs to run w/o leashes, but when the office is told, the owners are told to put dogs on leashes. The office cannot police the property 24/7 to make sure people are conforming to the law. 3. I don't know about the 10 people living in one apartment. Maybe the office doesn't know, because everyone must be listed on the lease. Alert the office. They are losing money if this is a fact. 4. The office staff are subject to the decisions of RAM management who are subject to the owner(s) of this property. Melissa and Holly and Lynda cannot do more than what they are allowed to do 1) under law, and 2) under the corporate policies and procedures. 5. If you don't like something, and the office staff cannot address the issue (probably why they don't return calls), document what you believe to be unacceptable living conditions, then give the information to RAM. If that doesn't work, contact the owner(s). If none of the parties do anything about the problem (like speeding), you can either accept the environment as is, or if it is a criminal issue, call the police, or you can move. 6. Moving to another complex will not solve anything. ALL apartment properties have similar problems, and sometimes worse. 7. This property is probably if not the best, one of the best Alpharetta complexes: lower crime, cleaner environment, better neighbors, etc. 8. If you think you can find a "perfect" living environment outside of owning your home, good for you! But I doubt it. I have studied this issue for many years; there is no "perfect" environment. All environments have their issues, even in single family residential areas. I agree that there are issues that the owners and management company need to address. But exaggerating those issues does a disservice to those residents and office staff who are trying to maintain this property as a better alternative. For years, residents have fought to keep this property from deteriorating into a crime-ridden property. We have fought to keep it decent so people can walk relatively safely after dark. It is up to the residents to maintain the neighborhood so it doesn't become a statistic like many of the other complexes in Alpharetta.

No Exaggeration, but your comments are appreciated. I stand by my comments. Let me also add that you advertise on rent.com 2 bedrooms from $922-$952, but they are more like $1025 to $1100 or are you just ripping us off? Stay away and you will be happy. There are many other rental properties in Alpharetta that are a lot nicer.
