I used to live in these apartments two years ago. I have moved away recently and am finding it hard to find apartment comparable to Alara Park Bridge.
Pros:
1. Helpful staff
2. Exercise room was nice. The televisions are attached to the machines so you could change the channels freely without asking if someone was watching the program.
3. The grounds were nicely kept. It almost felt like a neighborhood rather than an apartment building.
4. The neighbors were nice and friendly
5. Most of the neighbors are nice and friendly. You have all kinds of people living in the complex but most are nice. You have your racist people, East Indian people, ------- American, Caucasian, and Asians, so on and so forth. Do make friends with everyone you meet. You will learn new things.
6. I felt safe when I lived there.
Cons:
1. Upon moving into the apartment, the person above me was in the process of moving out so I had no one above me for six months. When the new person moved in, he walked as if he weighed 700 pounds. He let his children run wild and they sounded as if they weighed 300 pounds. Every weekend I had to deal with noisy crying children. He was rude and I think he did it on purpose because he never smiled or responded when I said Hello.
2. Alara Park has specific places and provides people with doggy bags to pick up after their dogs when they use the bathroom. Some people never attempted to pick up after their dogs so it was common to see dog poop on the grass. It wouldn t sit there for long. The complex had a crew to make sure the grounds are well maintained.
3. Don t trust the gated access completely. Gated Access Yes and No You cannot drive onto the property if you don t have an access card but you can walk onto the property freely. I think this is due to cost. I think it would cost more to put gates around the community because you would have to create another exit. There has to been more than one way in and one way out.
4. Not too long before I left, thefts began to occur on a regular basis. Cars were broken into and vandalized. Unfortunately, you cannot discriminate when it comes to housing but I wish they would. I understand things happen since there are tons of layoffs and divorces going on but if you have a long history of not paying your bills, I don t feel safe living around you. Maybe someone off the property had a hand in the thefts. You never know.
The only reason I left is after one year of staying at Alara Park, the rate jumped and I had to move out. I found a place a few blocks down and wished I never moved. The moral of this story is if you want to move to Alara Park it is a beautiful place. You will enjoy it if you can afford it.

Hello, I am relocating to Atlanta soon. Currently I am in the process of searching a good apartment complex for me and my mother. My focal point in the apartment search is to have a clean and safe apartment. I am searching for a 1 bedroom single top level apartment in an apartment complex which is safe, with decent amenities, bug free, good maintenance, no hidden fees, etc. I'm not sure if this is a good place to live so, I seek feedback from my would-be fellow neighbors. Please advice whether I should rent an apartment here. Thank you for your feedback
