Well, I like it

I've been here for almost a year now and I still really like it. It's a nice area, great location, and the apartments have a nice modern look. I've received many compliments on the apartment since I moved in. I may be lucky, but I have good neighbors and have never worried at all about walking to the gym or around the complex at night.

As for the disadvantages, I do have a double-door which opens out to my balcony that will whistle when the wind kicks up. I'm in one of the front buildings, around the front side, and on top - so I sort of expect that a little. The latch that is supposed to keep them tightly closed will work itself loose if the wind is heavy. But I don't think I've ever had any rain leak through so it's honestly never bothered me. I have a one-bedroom so my bills are still low even with the draft.

The dog poop was bad for a while, but I blame that on the residents more than the complex. Lately it hasn't seemed to be as bad and I have seen at least one worker cleaning it during the day so perhaps the complex hired people to clean that. If that's the case, I say "good on ya" to the complex for stepping up to save us from ourselves.

The last bad thing I think I can come up with was the email that went out about a reward for posting a good review. I honestly don't agree with that and I'm only posting on here because I want to post my honest review and tell you that I'm posting both the good and the bad and I'm not doing it for any rewards. I wish they hadn't done that because I think it makes them look worse than they are.

I'm honestly very happy where I'm at. I've had no trouble with the office. The same person who sold me on the apartment is still there and remembers me every time I come in to pick up a package or ask a question. She's very helpful and I've never had a problem. The one time that the garbage disposal refused to come on (still not sure if that was my fault or not), they came the same day I called and fixed it without complaint. They even fixed the drawer under the oven that I had pulled off the railing. I hadn't even put in a complaint about that!

So maybe I'm lucky, but I like the place and I hope that I continue to.

These so called positive reviews are quite interesting. Anyone of some intelligence can read right through them. Why does AMLI have such a poor, poor rating. Maybe AMLI owners needs to wake up and realize we residents are human and we expect to be treated with respect not unprofessional, discourteous employees.
