Good place to live

This is a fairly large complex, larger than the other ones around here. There are two entrances to AMLI onto two major roads through town -- Haynes Bridge Road and Old Milton Parkway.
The larger 1 bedroom unit is fairly roomy with its own dining room. The smaller 1 br unit lacks the dining room but is less expensive. My unit came with a washer and dryer for $30/mo. Landscaping is nice and the 3 lighted tennis courts are a plus. Exercise facility is decent and available 24 hours a day.
The management has undergone quite a few changes over the past couple of years but overall the level of service is good. Brandon is a cool guy to deal with. Maintenance problems have been minor and addressed quickly. Neighbors have never been a problem but sounds do travel through walls a little too well. It's very quiet at night (like the rest of Alpharetta). I have never had a problem finding a parking space next to my building.
AMLI allows for direct debit for rent and utilities payments, I love this as I never have to break out the checkbook or worry about whether I paid the rent on time. All the appliances are electric so the utility bills are pretty reasonable. The bill also includes water, sewer and garbage, as well as a $10 monthly "service charge"
Only major complaint: cell phone reception is mediocre in many units. Getting a decent call often means having to stand by a window or outside, walking to the wrong part of the house can mean a dropped call. So if you rely heavily or solely on a mobile phone, make sure the unit you pick has acceptable reception or you'll go nuts. Otherwise, this is a nice place to live.
