I have lived at Addison Place since early year 2000. It is now year 2004 and my lease is ready to expire again. Every year I go hunting in the area viewing other apartments and townhomes, comparing price, footage and locale. At Addison Place, I have lived in their townhome and their apartments. I was here before the pool was completed or the landscaping was finished and before their playground was put in. Therefore, I believe I can speak with somewhat authority what I personally have experienced as a tenant. As


far as Management goes, I have never had to complain to them about any of my neighbors or problems with people hanging out in the parking lot late at night. I have had


a plumbing problem and a microwave problem with poor quality, but the microwave


was immediately replaced within a 24 hour period and the plumbing was fixed in a matter of a day also. The carpet is not the best, or the padding, so I do agree with another person who commented on this within this site. But comparing apples to apples, I have found in my apartment search, Addison is the cleanest and the quietest from what I have either observed from being a guest at other friends apartments and the complaints they also have where they live. Management is important, and I have found with Addison Place, that they work with you on your issue. At poolside in the summer, many people gather and I never hear of anyone getting out of line ' everyone seems to have a great time and the children all seem to play well together. Most people won't stay at the same apartment complex as long as I have. So I feel I have judged this place with careful scrutiny and I really have no complaints at this time. It might depend on where you live in the complex and who your direct neighbors are that could also affect your evaluation of Addison Place, which would be true anywhere you live when it comes to apartment living. Price ' I don't have a problem with the price if the place has a quite clientele, Management cares, children play safely, etc. Their workout rooms are beyond any that I have visited and they have not scrimped on anything in this area. They have get-togethers a couple of times in the year for adults, Easter egg hunt for the children and matinees during the month. In addition, Addison Place is close to everything that in most cases you could literally walk to the grocery store, and now the new library. I give Addison Place a 4 rating.
