Some of you might know me, some of you never will. I used to work on the Grounds at Addison. I left after the start of the new year when I heard that building foundations for many of the building had failed state inspection. If any of you have experienced electrical or cable problems it's cause of this. The management got a quote from a third party company for the repair but it was more than they were willing to spend. They have three years to get the repairs done before the state closes the buildings for unsafe living conditions. The worst part, has managment told anyone about the problems. NO. I asked why we were not telling the people who lived in these 52 apartments. They said "Cause then they will want to move out!". So if you don't mind living in an apartment that could collapes at any second go for it, but other than that stay clear.

OMG,I use to live there and I always wondered why my lights would go out. I thought it was just shotty work from inexperienced electricians.

WOW - the three years won't be up until 2009!! YIKES! I think I know which building(s) you refer too and thank goodness I don't live in one. I wonder if the CONNOR GROUP knows about this problem. They MUST considering the sale - surely they have reviewed the documentation. I wonder what THEY will do about this??? OH - another thought....MAYBE THEY ARE TRYING TO OFFSET THE COST OF FIXING IT BY TRYING TO GET AWAY WITH CHARGING US FOR GAS, COMMUNITY ELECTRIC, TRASH (WHICH IS SPECIFICALLY STATED AS INCLUDED IN MY LEASE), ETC. ON THAT NEW "WATER" BILL WE ALL RECEIVED!!!!
