I lived several years ago. The management team back then were awful. When I move out of my apartment I left it spotless, even the maintenance manager was shock how clean, he wrote down this information on the move out sheet. The Manager at that time try to charge me for carpet cleaning. This is what I did, drove directly to the corporate office and complain. Needless to say, the manager got the message from corporate and I received my deposit promptly. So if you have the facts, go to corporate. Write down, take pictures, etc. before and after move in. Use your head!
