Here is my experiance of this complex! Good luck trying to get management to do anything, they lie and lack on coustomer service skills! My electric bill in a two bedroom was never under $150.00, poor insulation, beautiful on the outside, no upgrades on the inside! If you would like to sit at home in peace and quiet, forget about it! Let's not talk about the roach problem or the fact nothing is done about it. It took almost 3 months to get our deposit back!

I live in a two bedroom and my bill is never more than $100. Never had roaches. Staff has always been helpful... each place is never without those complainers who just can't be pleased and this just sounds like one of them.

The electic is based on YOUR own usage Freak!! If you use alot you will be charged ALOT, really how ignorant for you to blame that on the community!

I lived right around the corner before moving here (not 2 miles up the road) and my electric bill for a 2 bedrm on the 2nd floor there was about $90/month. Here for a a ground floor 2 bed my bill is over $150, and no FREAK it isn;t my usage it's the fact that I have had to have my hvac unit checked, rechecked and checked again oh about 8 times. But did they give me a new one... NO. You sound like you work in the office - nice huh? That's how those girls are.

OMG I just HAD to comment on the ROACH problem!! I am a very clean person. I keep my apartment in spotless condition and I never ever leave food sitting out on the counters. The ROACHES come in from the outside!! They crawl under the door frames - especially the french door - and I say door in singular because only one door opens which is really a shame - but back to the roaches. I think they do spray for them b/c by the time they get in my apartment they look like they are on their "last leg" so to speak. My pet usually finds them and thinks they are a toy. They never make it past the living room or dining room b/c once my pet finds them they are history thank goodness!! I've notified the office of this problem several times but still they persist as do the big ugly spiders and for a while the rollie pollies and the earwigs. It is so disgusting but when my pet is done with them I take them outside so the ants can feast on what's left. It's like watching the Discovery channel as the ants make very quick work of devouring the carcass - everything except the wings. They don't seem to like the wings very much so they put them aside. I have never ever had a roach in my living environment before I came to Addison place. In fact, I had only seen roaches on TV commercials and documentaries - oh and the one ER Emergency episode where they were in New York City and a woman came in with one that had burrowed into her ear canal...eeewwwww gross!! And, to address the electric bills, I have found the bills to be on the high side as well but I keep my apartment very cool in the summer heat. One bill that seems very high is the water bill. Coming from the west coast water, sewer and trash were always included in the rent. I've rented several different apartments in my lifetime and never have I even seen a water bill. It is pretty shocking how much it is each month...maybe the roaches are drinking all the water??? I will not be renewing because of the bug problem. My view of my home is now tarnished due to the gross roach problem and it will never feel safe for me to walk barefoot at night for fear of what I'll step on that happens to be scurrying around on my carpet while my pet is asleep!
