The friendly smiles and prompt service will disappear once you actually sign the lease. The lease termination for any reason will see you give a 60 day notice (or pay for it), an additional months rent as lease breakage fee, and pay back any discounts on rent they gave based on a lease term. They will change the carpet and charge you for at least half of the value upon move-out, so forget you deposit. The apartment is great, but the lease terms move out conditions and staff treatment once you are in the property are abysmal. Would never recommend anyone to go here....

I TOTALLY agree on everything but one - they DON'T charge you for 1/2 the value of the carpet - they charged me ALL OF THE VALUE!! $990.00 for a two bedroom smaller unit! I'm sure they did this because they already have the money and MORE in an escrow deposit to the tune of $1600.00 as my credit wasn't good enough for the regular $200 dep. I'm sure they will find a way to spend the rest of that money and I will either get NOTHING back or possibly end up OWING THEM money!! They expect the carpets to stay "new" looking no matter how long you live here! I think it's just standard for them to replace the carpet although it's not written anywhere in the lease. Unless you cover every square inch of carpet with rugs or even plastic sheeting expect to pay a LOT of money upon move out!! And, the "head" maintenance guy is sooo freaking RUDE I will not allow him in my apt (I transferred to a different unit...AND paid another $350 which was not a deposit, it was just a FEE - money DOWN THE DRAIN!) If I would have known how they treated move outs I would have moved to a different apartment complex altogether!!
