The HUGE $500.00 deposit imposed recently for Satellite TV is ILLEGAL! I work for a cable company...DON"T PAY THIS ILLEGAL FEE!!

I emailed both Direct TV and Dish TV to let them know about this illegal attempt to collect yet another "fee". According to the Cable Act of 1992 every consumer must have access to Satellite TV and no extraneous fees can be imposed that cause undue hardship, or limit a consumer's choice of TV providers!
Believe me ... they CANNOT impose this fee for Satellite TV!!!
