We went under new management approx 3-4 months ago. They deceive you when you sign a lease with them and have you to sign an addendum that jacks you way up! It allows them to charge you a laundry list of add'l fees that comes with your water bill. We now are forced to pay for the following: trash chg-9.99 common elec-11.25 common gas 3.09 pest control chg-7.99 security chg-4.00 and if that isn't enough they then add a 9.99 admin fee. Our former util co was Ista where an average bill was approx 33.00 a month. The total for my current util bill is now 87.80 If its not paid by the due date a 21.99 late fee is added. How unjust can you be'' When we voiced our outrage over this the first thing they throw at you is the addendum you signed. If they had made it clear what it meant no one in their right mind would agree to that. I wouldn't recommend Addison Place to anyone. It was very decent until the new owners took over.
