Yes Roberts was not that friendly, but things were taking care of. It is true that the trash now is often not compacted. It is true that the gates are open allot now or at times, not opening. What others have not mentioned that I have noticed is that sidewalks are not blown off hardly at all. This was an ongoing routine with Roberts. Thats why leaves are being dragged into my apartment on a regular basis now. We have been seeing allot more centipeids lately. What bothers me allot is that the pool lights are off. We face the pool and it was so pretty to sit and look at the lighted pool - all times during the year. I did request a repair twice - that was 2 months ago, nothing has been done. The first time I was told well they will probably be shutting down the pool area. Roberts never had this attitude. The trash at the pool/mailbox is often overflowing now as well. I have lived here 2 years and throughout the year, I have enjoyed going to the hot tub. The lights and heater were not working 2 months ago and the water level was down. This is something I also mentioned to the Connor Group and that same comment was given about shutting it down. When I lived in Colorado, people went to the hot tub in the snow. This is just another excuse. Collectively there is plenty of evidence that the new mangement is not doing thier job. They are friendlier than Roberts, but what difference does that make. It is the friendlness of someone who will stab you in the back (I use this expression to communicate the concept - if I could think of a lesser shocking statement I would use it). I renewed my lease before they came on board, and I am sad to hear the other reviews about the additional fees that the Connor Group had added on. The evidence is clear they are a sorry mangement group. FYI: my husband looked them up on the Better Business Bureau - they have like 67 complaints filed against them. Addison is a great place but not with the Connor Group.

The hot tub is supposed to remain usable year-round. After seeing all the other problems since the Connor Group "took over" I'm not surprised to hear that their "penny pinching" ways have made their way to the pool and hot tub. I am however saddened that this place I used to be quite proud to call home has turned into such a mis-managed, poorly cared for dump! You cannot even see the path for the leaves and debris on the walking trails, and I too have noticed a marked increase in the amount of bugs that Roberts used to keep at bay. I am MORTIFIED that there was a stiff, dead rat that was at least a foot in length (tail included) lying right out in the open next to the sidewalk near the main trash receptacle. I was also SHOCKED to find a rat trap next to my front door and nearly "tossed my cookies" when I saw yet ANOTHER DEAD RAT halfway inside the black trap!!! I NEVER saw any rodents or rodent traps prior to the Connor Group. What a lousy place to live Addison Place has turned out to be! For the premium price we pay in rent where did all the "premium" services go? I pay WAY TOO much for what I'm living in (compared to similar apts in the surrounding area) and the Connor Group is just chomping at the bit to get the rest of us "Roberts Leasees" to sign new leases with them so they can raise the price - in my case by hundreds of dollars per month - and add those additional "fees" included in their lease agreement. I am already looking elsewhere as I will never sign their ridiculous lease and I'll be damned if I'll pay a couple hundred more per month for this apartment!!
