I'm a current resident. Over the past 8 months I've lived here, I've never had any problems with the office staff or maintenance. They have always returned my phone calls same day and taken care of maintenance requests same day. The building I live in is very quiet. Rent is reasonable, especially for the area. While apartment hunting this last time, I priced and viewed more than 6 complexes in the area. Amli was the not the cheapest but definitely more my style and came in way under the apartments on the other side of 400, which were >$800 for a one bedroom. I don't take advantage of all the ammenities as much as I'd like but I can say the pool is great as well as the people there. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

I have lived at this complex for five years. This tenant may like it now, but wait until it's time to renew your lease. Rent for one bedrooms is going up an average of $90 a month and for 2 bedrooms as much as $200. I would not recomment living here unless you want to be hung out to dry at your renewal!!!

Please excuse my incorrect words/grammar above. I meant "tenant" and not "customer".

Just wondered what you think now. Have you renewed your lease? You are comparing apples to oranges when comparing this complex with those on the other side of 400. The $800 apartments are in complexes with two pools, indoor racquet ball and basketball courts, large fitness centers compared to the one at Archstone. Well maintained grounds, classy people in the leasing office, and, last but not least, cookies in the club house with any kind of beverage you want. You get what you pay for. Archstone is trying to make a silk purse out a sow's ear. I don't want to pay for that!!

I'm the author of the above review. I ended up buying a house across town at the end of my one year lease. They were going to raise my rent upon renewal approximately $80 per month which, which I wasn't happy about. When I told the leasing office that I did not wish to renew they offered offered to keep my rent the same if I stay. Which I suppose could be considered kind of sleazy but is pretty typical of apartment complexes. Moving out was easy too. My final bill was around $75 for the cleaning fee. Which I found to be incredibly reasonable. I have moved out of many apartment and have been billed MUCH more for unwarranted charges. Even in hind-sight, I really don't have any complaints about this complex. The staff was already incredibly nice and efficient. Bottom line is you are always going to have minor issues any where you live, especially in an apartment. Don't sweat the small stuff.
