I have lived here for 3 years. Here is a list I of some of the pros and cons of Saratoga.

Pros- Friendly staff, Large pool, Fairly large floorplans, Nice woodland Community.

Cons- Very old buildings, Plumbing Sucks, Luxury Pricing for non luxury apartments, Ceiling and Windows leak, Bug problems, drug infested, bug infested, stray cats EVERYWHERE, Extremely noisy neighbors with thin, Older floors.

These are just the facts. If you don't involve yourself with the drug problem then it won't likely effect you. But if you have Kids I would not let them ride the bus or associate with the other kids in the neighborhood. From driving back and forth I have seen kids getting off the bus get into fights and they seem to be involved in a lot of gang related activity. Once again I'm not bashing Saratoga just stating the facts from my own personal experience. If you just keep to yourself you should be ok.
I would deffinantly NOT recommend this complex to any families with children.
If you do decide to take a tour of one of the building please note the window draft problem and know this will net higher power bills.

The new management is addressing the stray cats as well as renovating the units with all new appliances, cabinets, light fixtures and hardware. Please call me and let me know your apartment number so that I can have a maintenance team member look at your window. Thanks Kent Smith 678-585-0094
