What have I gotten myself into'

Topic #1... the neighbors:
I've lived in apartments for a long time and I know that your neighbors are not always going to be ideal. However, our neighbors all have kids and apparantly don't believe in adult supervision, so the little tykes are always running wild through the streets... literally. And when they see you drive by in your car, they just stand there and look at you like you're offending them by driving IN THE STREET!! How dare we drive our car in the street, as we all know that it really is a playground. My bad.
When we first moved in, our neighbors across the hall seemed a little strange (and seemingly very popular, since people are always knocking on the door incessantly). After a little while, my dense little head realized that their "friends" were buying drugs. Such a safe place for all those darling little unsupervised kiddies.
And of course we can't forget the cutest neighbors, the stray cats. Little kitties run around, hiding under the cars (some of which have not moved in months!) and basically just trying to survive. They don't really bother me too much, but I figured I would mention them anyway.
Topic #2... the maintenance:
Our maintenance team is top- notch, if you consider standing there on your cell phone all day with a cigarette hanging out of your mouth top- notch. We've had several maintainance issues that have been resolved by them telling us that its not actually an issue. For instance: our AC only worked when it was set on 50, which made our power bill shoot up to about an average of $175. I was told that that was normal. When my dad came to town, he fixed the issue by leveling the thermostat, so that it was actually reading the temperature acurately. Amazing how just a little thing could cause such an expensive problem!
The groundskeeping also leaves something to be desired. While the trees and flowers are always looking nice, the lawns are veritable land mines! While they have a "pet station" which consists of one trashcan that is surrounded by doggie doo, it does not have trash bags to dispose of this mess. Walking on the grass is almost dangerous if you consider pet dung on your shoes to be deadly.
Topic #3... the staff:
While the office staff is kind and courteous, they tend to lie to residents. The most recent offense was when the water went out to the whole complex (for the second time in 2 months) and we were told that a water pipe was broken. I'm not an idiot, because this happened at the same time both months, and I have deduced through logic and reason that the company forgot to pay the water bill on time. I have the courtesy to pay them on time, and yet, one day each month, I have to go elsewhere just to use a toilet.
These are my complaints, do with them what you will....

I just wanted to comment on the water issue. I have been in this complex since Jan 04 and the only time I have ever had my water cut off was this morning.....that was due to water main break that I saw for myself last night.....not sure what other instances you are referring to as it's never happened to me.

I would like to ask for you to contact the leasing office and speak with the property manager. I will personally look into any concerns that you might have in regards to the neighbors. The water being turned off today was in deed a pipe that was broken and shooting approximately 30 ft into the air. The maintenance team constantly works on the grounds with the best effort to making it as clean as possible. I am diligently working with catching the stray animals and resolving that concern. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. Kent Smith 678-585-0094

I keep seeing replies from someone using the address 1522. I personally know the person in 1522 and you are not them. It is someone that wouldn't know how to use a computer if they had to. Please stop using her address as it could become a security issue for her.
