Mixed Feelings

I moved in last month and I'm having mixed feelings about the place. When I first viewed this place I loved the location, the scenary, the girls at the front desk, and it just felt like a safe place to be. Now that I've lived here a month I'm actually quite angry by the services I have received (and haven't received yet). If anyone sees a mailbox open with a key in it...that's mine. The apartment complex ghetto rigged a broken mailbox and gave it to me and it finally broke last night and I couldn't get my key out so I was forced to leave it there. Thank God the gates are always broken because they didn't even activate my card for the gates so I can't get in if there closed. I just found this out 2 days ago..and there not answering there phones. Anything they fixed in my apartment..is now falling back apart because they used cheap patches to cover things up rather than actually fixing the problem. Parking is impossible and I'm having to get a gym membership cause I'm too scared to run around that place early in the morning when no one is out. I'm very dissatisfied but I still really like it's location and the scenary if you ignore the stray cats running around. I haven't seen any possums and I'm really hoping I don't. Me and my roomate are starting to count down the months so we can go ahead and leave. I can get the same type of living environment for so much cheaper. But who would want this living environment even if it was cheap'!

I have very similar thoughts and experiences! Girls in office are great and one of the maintenance guys is great, but only one. Took them 2 days to fix my hot water heater and now my a/c isn't working. Afraid to think how long it'll take for that. Fortunately I have an attached garage so no parking issues for me. I'm not scared to run but joined a gym anyway. I've run through church a few times. LA Fitness isn't the closest but has multiple locations. Email me if you want a very slow, very rare running partner as I travel a good bit.

I lived there for 6 months last summer and looked at this site today to see if anything has changed. NOT A THING. Our AC didn't work for over a week when we first turned it on, and had to make several calls about it. Our carpet had to be cleaned 2 times before we moved in it was so nasty. The complex would not replace it (compare to other complexes, where it seems there's always a carpet install going on) DO NOT use the pool. That is scary. The gate was always broken too. I understand that big metal gates that move a thousand times a day are prone to issues...but a complex that cares actually pays for someone to come out the same week, not 2 months later. I can't believe that this place is still in business, especially considering the more affluent part of town that it is in. Sure sounds like a deal getting all of that square footage for such a low price. Hope you like rodents, weekly power outages, awful smells and dirty common areas, roaches, stray cat gangs. Maybe um..... raise the rent some and fix up the place. The location is fantastic. What a waste! At least we were only there 6 months and we never had to pay for cable since it was left on for us.
