I lived in this apartment complex for about 3 years and it was a terrible mistake.
Once the next door pipe leaked and it leaked into OUR room, which soaked up all our floor. The apartment managers did not even pay for the damage. It damaged our clothes in the closet, carpet, just about everything. Nothing was paid for.

Then they asked us to move out so they can work on "renovation" (This used to be owned by Bristol Park Apts.) In our new apartment they moved us in, the monthly payment was much higher, and electrical bill was crazy terrible. One summer month it came out to be 178 dollars when we did not even use any air condition or anything. There are only two people living in our apartment and we barely cook or do laundry either. Lights were not turned on constantly and air conditioner was not even touched. But the electric bill came out to be 178. Absolutely ridiculous. The apartment office did not do anything about, they just told us that they searched and did everything they could but they can not be responsible for it.

So we finally moved out of this place in August and we were supposed to get our security deposit back from both Bristol Park and Chelsea Ridge. The check from Chelsea ridge is still not here (it's been more than a month now) and I found out that the security deposit from Bristol Park has been used up by Chelsea Ridge. They did not notify us or anything. They told us the security deposit of $50 was used for "blind damage" from the old apartment we used to live in. We don't remember ANY damage made in the apartment and they told us NOW that the security deposit was taken up for the "blind damage." Isn't it the apartment office's responsibility to notify that there was a damage therefore the security deposit would be used up for it'

I think it was completely unfair that the office used up our security deposit money without notifying us first and telling us even that there was a damage at all.

I really do not recommend this apartment complex because the system they run in the office is really not legit and not organized. We were victimized without any returns (the electrical bill and the pipe leak damage from next door) and now we are told that our security deposit money is consumed by them.

Another thing - If you're looking for an apartment near a good school district area, this place is no longer the place to be. Northview High School is known to be the most excellent school in Fulton County and this apartment complex used to be districted to Northview but it is no longer districted. It is districted to Johns Creek High School which was newly built and just opened in August 2009. I do not know much about Johns Creek High School but Northview has the reputation.

At first impression, you would have a great impression but once you move in and starts to have problems, they will do everything to dump the responsibility on you and never take for their faults.

Do not move in this place.

I agree with this person. The office manager and staff lie about what they will do. The security gate rarely works. The exercise equipment was broken when we went in last week, and the TV channels were frozen on a bizarre religious station and CNN. There is not ENOUGH parking for all the vehicles (which are supposed to be registered and are NOT). One neighbor kicked in the car door of parked vehicle because he couldn't find a place to park, and the management does nothing. People are partying in the parking lot and pull in blaring their music at all hours of the night. We even heard gunshots last night. We found glass around the pool and lots of trash. Management does NOT enforce the rules-check out the decks full of toys, boxes, and junk. The police have been called at least five times for various incidents and the management does NOTHING!!!
