I'VE RECENTLY MOVED INTO THE COMPLEX JUST A FEW MONTHS AGO, THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE THUS FAR IS THE UP-KEEP OF THE GROUNDS/GROUNDS KEEPING. EACH DAY I CAN SPOT A PIECE OF PAPER, BEER CAN/SODA CAN, SOME SORT OF TRASH ON THE GROUND ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE COMING UP THE LONG DRIVE AS YOU ENTER THE COMPLEX. TRASH IS ALWAYS CLOSER TO THE GRASSY AREAS OR IN THE GRASS NEAR THE WATER FALL. THEY ARE JUST NOT VERY DETAILED IN UP KEEPING THE GROUNDS. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT! I HAVE BROUGHT THIS TO MANAGEMENTS ATTENTION, YET I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY CHANGES. THIS IS POOR MANAGEMENT OF THIS PROPERTY

Hello,
I am relocating to Atlanta soon. Currently I am in the process of searching a good apartment complex for me and my mother. My focal point in the apartment search is to have a clean and safe apartment. I am searching for a 1 bedroom single top level apartment in an apartment complex which is safe, with decent amenities, bug free, good maintenance, no hidden fees, etc. I'm not sure if this is a good place to live so, I seek feedback from my would-be fellow neighbors. Please advice whether I should rent an apartment here.
Thank you for your feedback

Hello to you, I've lived in Collingwood for a little over 2 years now. I have an elementary school-aged child and the school is within walking distance to the complex. I think this is the only reason we are still here. Of all the neighborhoods I've rented in, this one is by far the WORST. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything. Neighbors could be whispering outside in the parkinglot and you will hear the entire conversation like they were in your bedroom with you. I also live on the top floor. I have a leaky window in the living room which the complex's "Contractors" allegedly "FIXED" twice. Still leaking! The back of my couch is moldy and ruined and I have to keep a towel over the ledge of the window for when it rains. The window looks as if it is ready to fall out of the wall since the sheetrock around it is all crumbling, mildewy and rotted. One night when it was very windy, the window in my bedroom came crashing in on me in the middle of the night. The only thing that kept it from falling to the floor were the blinds. It was held up by packing tape for 3 days until someone could get to it and repair it. The window does not open. When I first moved in it smelled like someone or something died in the apartment. The smell lasted for months. Management never did anything about it. My HVAC unit has been broken for a year and a half. They don't want to replace it-- just "fix it" every couple months. They are costing me hundreds of dollars just for this. Hope this helps.
