While I've been here, there have been robberies, at least one rape, random shootings, and drug dealers. I've had to deal with roaches, ants, roof leaks, and noisy neighbors. I've complained about breed violations (my neighbor owns a very vicious pit bull) and apartments with too many occupants (4 kids, 3 adults in a small 2 br apt.). This year, my rent is going up over $130.00 which both the manager and Lane believe is reasonable. No new anything (carpet, paint, tile, wallpaper, bath fixtures, appliances, etc.) I left 7 messages for the manager to call me (she never returned my call). I finally reached her on my 8th attempt. She said there's nothing she could do which I know is not true. My next home will be my own, so I'm preparing for that day. I've never really felt compelled to write until now. I can't wait until my last day at this place.

Unfortunatly crime has no address. It has no biases and can happen anywhere. We promote our residents to contact the police department with any suspicious activity. As far as the breed of dogs on property, our qualifications state that we don't allow any aggressive breed of dogs here at Holcomb's Pond. Unfortunately, residents will move in and not notify the office of their new pets. On the other hand, when we do become aware that an illegal breed is on site, we do take proper action to have the pet removed from property. We also have occupancy standards, that once violated are handled accordingly. As far as the condition of the apartment, I am not sure as to why nothing was done. With no name, no previous apartment number, I have nothing to go on. I am sorry that this review was not settled on site, but I do hope that you are enjoying your new home.
