I have been threatened with a letter from the office staff after only living here one month, telling me that my downstairs neighbors have complained about me stomping around late at night. It?s just me in this apartment, and I am not a big girl. And I don?t lift weights. I can sometimes hear my neighbors talking at night, and someone left their alarm clock on one morning and I could hear it for an hour. So if you want a peaceful, quiet community then this isn?t for you. Noise doesn?t kill me, so I can handle it. I do have to say: I got a very good move-in special, so I am probably paying about $150 less per month than the standard rental rate, but I wouldn?t pay more than I am paying now for this apartment. I will not renew my lease if my rent goes up. I love the layout of my one bedroom apartment - it is very unique, the grounds are beautiful with lots of trees, and the best part - no bugs (so far) since I moved in. I hope it stays this way. I have a beautiful view and a huge walk-in closet which is enough to keep me happy here!
