do NOT move here unless you hate yourself

my fiance and i moved into our first apartment together last november!! yayyy!!! ..... at least we thought "yay" until we moved in.... things we noticed our first night: the carpet looked like a dozen dogs had lived here before us, we had broken cabinets (one looked like it had been kicked in), the carpet had paint spray on it from overspray, the closet mirrored doors and door handles also had overspray (i was told by staff "oh you can just scrape that off real easy" what'' "I" can'' no no... that's your job dude), there is STILL a hole in our kitchen floor (10 months later, mind you), we were missing 2 light fixtures, ... and the list goes on.... since then i've had to call the office about once a week with complaints... they treat me as though i am a nuisance (am i wrong in thinking that they should make sure the units are properly working'' and that's just the INSIDE!!)... we have bugs... ants, spiders, cockroaches, etc. in our apartment (it's now been the third month that i've called almost weekly just about the bugs and THEY'RE STILL HERE)... some kids set our doormat on fire just for fun one night and slashed our screens on our windows... i never got a call back from the office about those and the security officer never showed up when i called him either... lets see what else... parking is terrible.. the only spaces open in front of our building are the ones you have to pay for (i think i'm paying this place enough already)... a couple of weeks ago 3 cars got broken into (including mine) and one got stolen all in one night (that's right they stole an entire car)... THE OFFICE STAFF IS TERRIBLE... requests rarely get put into the computer and when they do it's a while before they get taken care of...... if you have the privelege of having upstairs neighbors, you will think they are elephants because of how much noise comes through the ceiling from the littlest of things (e.i. light walking, water running, toilets flushing, people talking, etc.) after the staff lying and saying there is a 3 foot concrete barrior between floors... there's no way..... the laundry room costs about $4 if you actually want your clothes dry for washing and drying together... you can't drive through the complex without almost running over a dozen or so rowdy kids (they don't move... drive around them or drive over them).... the gates are broken about half the time (i had to push it open myself after work one night.. ok more than just ONE night)..... i could probably say much more... but i think you get the picture... don't move in here... the rent is too high... and the place sucks... the people that recommend this place are the same ones that look the other way when you say hello... i know the name of ONE (count it.. one) person in my building... i advise that you looks somewhere else... ESPECIALLY if you have kids that are not yet in a gang, and you would like to keep it that way... the kids in this neighborhood have no respect for anyone including their own parents... and the parents don't seem to care at all if their kids get into trouble here... FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO RENT... LEXINGTON IS NOT EVEN WORTH LOOKING AT.

my review is not a joke... and your english sucks... your kid was probably the one who set my doormat on fire to begin with... if you're happy living in these apartments then that's fine... but i'm not... maybe i just came at a bad time... maybe i just got a bad unit... but i haven't enjoyed my stay and since this is a website for opinions on apartments, i think i have a right to express mine... is that ok with you?
