Worst Apartment Ever!

I had the displeasure of living in Sterling Woods Apartments for a brief period of time. I thought it would be great not having to commute so far to work, but it was such a hassle trying to get out onto Northpoint Parkway in the mornings, I may as well have commuted to Roswell from Cobb County. The management team was the pits. When me and ten of my neighbors had there cars broken into the week before Christmas, management gave us the "what do you want us to do about it'" attitude.
I had roaches, spiders, scorpions, and Cave Crickets (those disgusting crickets that look like jumping spiders and get huge) When my oven broke they sent this scary, pervy maintenance man over at nine o'clock at night. They were constantly doing apartment checks for one reason or another. I had a horrible neighbor who lived above me who would stomp on the ceiling (her floor) if you laughed too loudly or if your TV was on past eight o'clock. Sometimes she would even come down and beat on my door and scream at me through the door and yet she would play her piano all hours of the night. I would go out to my car in the mornings and find scratches along my door panels and paint flecks from where inconsiderate neighbors would park too close to my car and just open their doors on mine. There was no assigned parking and when the people in the unit next to mine would have parties all of their friends would hog the parking spaces up front, leaving me no choice but to park way out in East Jerusalem and walking quite a distance just to reach my front door. On more than one occasion I would find empty beer bottles under my car tires and stacked on the hood of my car. People would party in the parking lot at insane hours during the week. When they pressure washed my patio it leaked muddy water all into my storage closet. The stairwells were poorly lit and quite scary at night. The final straw was when they did a routine steam cleaning on my carpet and the crew left my carpet sopping wet to the point where I couldn't wear my socks around the apartment because they would become soaked. If I wore my shoes I tracked mud everywhere. I complained to the leasing office and they told me to just open my windows and let my apartment air out. After a week of wet carpets it finally dried a little by which time my entire apartment reaked of mildew. The smell never came out of my clothes, even after I moved. I hated that place and would NOT recommend anyone moving there I don't care how posh you think it is to live in Alpharetta. Believe me, there are much better places in that area that are still affordable.
