We lived in Sterling Woods for a year and was the worst experience ever. We were in one apartment and both our cars and our apartment got broken into. The complex moved us to another apartment swearing that if we were broken into again the would break our lease with no termination fees. Well surprise we were broken into and they are now not refunding any of our $1500 yes $1500 in deposits that they have and are also saying we owe $8000. We only had 4 months left on our lease which would have only been $2800 so they make up lies. Also when we left we had a final walkthrough and were told we were getting everything back. We gave 30 days notice and paid that out even though we had already moved but don't ever ever trust these people. They are theives and also they rent to 17 year old kids. I am the manager, and I just want to say that this information is completely false. I have not had one situation even close to this happen in the 4 years I have lived here. If someones apartment and car were broken into I would never suggest transferring them to another apartment. Furthermore, I have never had anyone owe $8000.00 to us for any reason. Finally, you must be 21 or older to rent from us, so I don't know why they would think we rent to 17 year old kids. Obviously this person had other issues that they didn't want to talk about so they made up a very far fetched lie. We care about our residents and always try to work with them on any situation to make them happy.
