Apartment air conditioning is inadequate for the upper floors. Informed the staff 6 times and they did nothing about the problem. Heat was almost unbearable. Heard of other tenants having the same problem.

They nick you on lease termination and won't budge at all as far as letting you terminate your lease without penalty. I was in a month-to-month deal but still had to pay 2 months termination on the lease. If I had left during that time, they'd still rent the place out and collect double rent.

If the apartment does not fix a/c, heating, appliances, or anything that is a health hazard, you don't have to pay them a dime! Should have called the several agencies/authorities/legal counsel to seek remedy and damages.
