not worth the money

These apartments are no longer worth the money. Make sure you look at the actual apt. you're going to rent and not the model. They seem to have plumbing problems and may have been constructed when builders were slapping apartments together quickly in time for the olympics. Take a walk around the apartment to see if the floors are creaky and look closely to see how the bathroom is holding up. Check the toilet too. How can I put this delicately: the toilet does not have much water in it, so anything that goes in the toilet will probably not hit water. This can be embarassing for guests. You either have to let them figure it out themselves and make sure you have a toilet brush near by or you have to tell them they may want to put toilet paper in the toilet before using it so that they won't leave an embarassing mess, but not too much paper because you have to flush at least 2 times to get everything down. I told maintenance and he said that's just the way the toilets were. The office can be a problem but I won't waste my time about that because the turnover rate in Atlanta for those jobs means that different people may be working there by the time you read this. I will say this: make sure you talk to at least 2 people about any problems because there is 1 person there who will say *ANYTHING* to get you to go away. Yes they painted the outside of the buildings but as another resident pointed out, they didn't do a very good job because they got paint on the windows, doors. It is the inside of the apts that you need to pay more attention to.
