Very Nice!

I have only been living here for a couple of months but I have no complaints. I live in the new phase of the complex and have had no problems, and I think that my rent price is very reasonable for everything I am getting here. The grounds are well-maintained, and though I will admit that the walls are thin, my apartment is still relatively quiet even though I do have families with children living around me.
The office staff has been very friendly and helpful, although they are more so when I go up and speak to them face-to-face as opposed to over the phone.
I have also found the maintenance staff to be very helpful as well. I have only had 2 or 3 very minor maintenance concerns, and they were usually handled on the same day I reported them. On the first day I moved in my AC was not working properly, and the repairman came about two hours after I reported the problem, and even took his shoes off so as not to track in anything on my new carpet.
I will say that parking can be a bit of a problem. Most of the time I don´t need to park very far from my building, but occaisionally I do have a bit of a walk.
The amenities are lovely and clean. The one thing I do have issue with is the grills at the pools. I think it is ridiculous for them to have been out of order as long as they have.
I really enjoy all of the activities and events that this community offers its´ residents. The food, etc. has never been a 5-star spread, but that´s not really the point. The point is to go and meet people, and it is a way for the management to do something nice for the tenants. It has been a great way to meet some of my neighbors, and in my experience, I have found that, the better I know my neighbors, the fewer problems I have.
I have lived in some pretty rotten communities that I paid more for than I do here. I think it would be hard to find a community that is completely problem-free, but this is by far the nicest community I have lived in so far, and lots of the complaints I have read about are minor or one-time occurences that probably would occur in any community. I have yet to have a problem that could not be handled effectively by speaking to the management or to my neighbors.
I highly reccommend The Preseve to others, and in fact have referred two tenants.
