Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
Parking: if you are lucky enough to have a garage, great! Otherwise, this might be an issue.
Noise: This is the worst apartment I've ever lived in regarding noise. I could actually hear my neighbors' conversations (especially in the bathrooms where there is absolutely no insulation)!
Grounds: Very nice, and would be nicer if all pet owners took care of the poop situation. My suggestion for the Preserve- use the $400/pet deposit to hire someone to clean it up.
Excersie facilities: Nice, but are not cleaned/sanitized often or well.
Pests: I had a rat living with me for a month or so under the previous management. They were not sympathetic to the problem at all. In fact, it took at least 4-5 visits to the office in order for the problem to be resolved. Even then, they were not willing to find the now dead rodent in my apartment.
Service quality: I spent over $100/month in electricity. I am now a homeowner with a much larger home and haven't spent more than $70. Something was definitly wrong with the AC at the Preserve (which they tried to fix 3 times and consistently told me there was nothing wrong).
Office staff: Only willing to help when you've consistently complained and the issue has escalated into a serious problem.
Deposit: It took 60 days and numerouse phone calls in order to get my deposit refunded.
