There are nice floor plans and descent price. That's about it.
My lease is about to expire and I got offered a renewal rate which is way higher then the rate for new renters. Negotiating better rate failed because 'better rate is for vacant apartments only'. So... if I move out for a brief amount of time, let them spend some money on fixing up and cleaning up the apartment, I can move back in into the same apartment and pay much better price. Obviously management has no idea how to manage properly, and this shows through many other things.
Rent have gone way down since we moved in and it reflects on the people who are moving in. It has become much louder and dirtier lately. People are inconsiderate of their neighbors. Cars are speeding through as if they are on a freeway. There are no sidewalks at all and I really don't feel safe when I walk outside with my baby. Just a few weeks ago a kid in the stroller was run over by such "fast" car.
The only lawn we have is always filled with dog s**t.
Crime has really become an issue lately. Few days ago somebody slashed tires on 20 or so cars. Numerous break-ins (cars and apartments), theft, etc..
I am really looking forward to the end of my lease in a few weeks.
