I've lived in Abbey West for 3 years, same apartment, same roommates. We've all loved it. Every month they some kind of social event at the clubhouse with free food and door prizes. Even if you don't participate, it's nice to know they do it. They have breakfast available during finals, barbeques, luaus... We've never had any problem with fees or violations. We've been rewarded every year for renewing our leases, from tanning bed memberships to Best Buy gift cards. Our rent has actually gone down every month- from $370 to $340. The staff knows us by name, they go out of their way to help us if we ever have problems.

Any problems we have had have been with neighbors- loud parties or people leaving trash outside of the apartment. Typical problems you're going to have anywhere in a college town.

Any maintenence problems have been minor- clogged drains or bugs. Maintenence always responded promptly, a bug man comes regularly to spray. Police officers live in the complex and available 24 hrs. a day...

I love Abbey West and would recommend it to anyone.
