This place is awesome! I am a grad student and was looking for a place that would not be undergrad party central. I was fortunate enough to find Brighton Park. Great location, on the bus line, awesome staff (the one time I called for anything [light fixture] they had a gentleman [not just a warm body] come out within the hour), and neighbors who are either professionals or respectful students (no keggers). The only negative comment listed for BPark must have come from an undergrad (for the same reasons I listed above). Utilities are not high in comparison to the surrounding area, and curtains are a no brainer for anyone truly concerned with extra light entering the apartment (even though the apartment comes with blinds) and energy conservation.
As for safety, ACC PD is right up the street and there is also an officer who lives on site who is available at any hour of the day for any reason (although he must feel like the Maytag repairman given the environment here in BP).
