I have lived at multiple apartment complexes in Athens, this was definitely my worst experience. The management calculated our rent wrong one month, b/c we have to pay extra each month for our dog, and they hunted us down and demanded that we give them a dollar, (YES, ONE dollar) and insisted that I had written my check for the wrong amount. When my check went through, I had definitely written it for the correct amount. The grounds are kept clean, but are not pleasing to the eye, there are sirens going all the time, the faucets and appliances are old and leak and/or don't work frequently. The management seems to basically stalk you. And they're not very friendly. Stay away. There are too many well priced, nice apartment complexes in Athens to waste your time on this one.
