I've been here for two years now, and it's really not that bad. The management changed two or three months ago, and they're doing a really good job of turning things around. The old management was awful, always gave out incorrect information if they didn't know the truth, and never had good maintenance people.

Since the new management took over, everything that was wrong with my apartment has been fixed in a timely fashion. I've seen a ton of new appliances being unboxed, and they've done a room-by-room inventory on all the furnishings--presumably so that they can replace what needs it. I'm moving out in a week because I'm graduating, but for the next people who move in it should be a good deal.

The internet does suck, and there's no end of ways that it's inconvenient, but from what I understand the people at the office are in the process of fixing that too. I get decent enough internet because I don't play WoW or download movies or anything that takes a long time. The appliances are pretty old, but they do work. The living room is large enough for three extra recliners, and the rooms have decent sized closets.

Basically, for the $370/month I'm paying, I've never felt unsafe, never seen a cockroach in the apartment, never gone over on any utilities, and never had to worry about more than one bill a month--my rent. It's not a sink-hole, and the university buses come out here. You could do a lot worse.
