When I first moved into Lakeside, my apartment was infested with ants but they did nothing to solve the problem. The walls and ceiling are super thin so if you live near the hallways you can hear drunk people yelling at random times of the night, fireworks randomly shooting off, or people attempting to break the stairs by jumping on them, which they succeeded when a stair broke and I fell through (I did not press any charges or get a lawyer involved because of the hassle involved and on top of school work--not worth the time) You can also hear the slightest movement from the floors above. During Thanksgiving break they decided to repave the roads and did not give a notice till the day before (but I left couple days early with a friend) and they towed my car away without any indication of doing so. Their pet friendly environment is not so friendly for fellow residents who have to walk outside in poop infested walkways that are left there to decay and attract flies. I have a friend who also lives in the area as well and had a problem with a leaky ceiling that they considered fix by cutting a huge hole in the ceiling and taping the ducts, which remained open till further complaints. During our move out, we cleaned the place immaculately but still got ridiculously charged over small details. Overall I have been quite dissatisfied with my stay at Lakeside and would not suggest living here.

Unfortantely the entire state of Georgia had issues with Ants last Summer. We provide pest control. We encourage all residents to call in the work orders and we would be glad to take of it. If you had an issue with noise, we provide 2 Courtesy Officers for your convenience. If that didn't help, calling the Athens Clarke County Police. We have done a great deal of improvements on the property this past and current year. No reports were made to the office that anyone fell through. It is greatly important that everyone call and reports issues in and around their apartments. We won't know if it isn't reported. During the repaving of the parking lot. Residents were given prior notice way before 24 hours. You were given a 24 hour notice that the cars would be towed from one end of the parking lot to the other. If you recall your vehicle was still in the parking lot just not where it was parked. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have had.
