The negative reviewers must be living in an alternate universe. My experience with Lakeside has been mainly positive.

Positives:

-The pools and gym are really nice.
-I'm a bit obsessive about filing maintenance requests, and they've filled all but one within 2-3 days. Apparently they didn't think they fact that my living room fan was covered with stickers was worth a request. I can hang with that. They replaced our dryer with a new model because the old one wouldn't dry fast enough, which was nice. They're also very good about changing the air filters
-The rooms and bathrooms are huge compared to living in dorms. I feel like I have plenty of privacy from my other roommates.
-The grounds are really pretty.
-I feel relatively safe here. There are always lots of people around.
-No traffic noise.
-Staff has been helpful and nice.

Negatives:
-I have seen a couple bugs (1 silverfish, 2 house centipedes, some gnats, 1 dead roach) since I moved in, but I'm pretty messy, and it's way better than even my parent's house during the summer.
-The people who live above me are rednecks and get into fights sometimes. My roommates say they can hear them having sex too. My only complaint is about loud parties - maybe 2-3 a month.
-Parking for Building K and L is not great. You often have to park across the street. As far as I know, the other buildings are fine.

Like I said, I felt compelled to write a review just because the other ones seemed so outrageous, almost like they were written by competing complexes or something. O_O Lakeside isn't perfect, but it's definitely a nice place to live.

Thank you for your kind words :0) We apologize for any parking inconveniences you have had while here at Lakeside. We have tried condensing the storage containers. Hopefully when all of the upgrades are completed we will condense them down even more so. We appreciate your opinion!!
